Most people never go after their big goals and dreams because they feel that they’re too far out of their reach. Their dream seems larger than life…a looming mountain whose heights they simply will not be able to scale.
The fact is, Rome wasn’t built in one day and our dreams and goals won’t be either. The good news is that even the loftiest dreams or goals are conquered step by step, moment by moment, choice after choice, one action after another...one day at a time.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a passionate interest in space exploration. As a kid, I read and collected anything having something to do with the astronauts or the space program. I even clipped every newspaper and magazine article that I could get my hands on and neatly accumulated them in large scrap books.
On that day back in July of 1969 when the Apollo 11 made history with the first lunar landing, I sat on the floor in front of the TV in my parents’ living room and was completely transfixed.

I see so many people talk themselves out of going after their dreams because they convince themselves that they can’t make money at it. The problem is that there are two separate issues at play here:
- Doing what you love
- Making money from it
Our desire for income is most certainly valid, and more often than not, it’s possible to do both. However, the two should be treated as separate issues…at least in the beginning. Otherwise neither of them will ever see the light of day.
